Questions and Answers
We receive e-mails from people asking questions about general and specific health conditions
and concerns. We have decided to publish some of the more common questions here for the
benefit of those that read articles on our site.
Question: Hello! I saw you with Doug Kaufmann on Family Net today and am excited about what I heard there.
Can you direct me to a local chiropractor who could counsel me nutritionally, and for the management of
chronic asthma and advanced sinus disease? Also, I have a good friend at church who has recently been
diagnosed as having scleroderma and myco (something or other)--a very painful condition. Can you provide any
special insights into how he can prevent the rapid development of this horrible disease? Or pain management
methods that would be useful?
Thanks for any help you can offer. We are desperate for solutions, and this is costing the family so much
money. They are very concerned about how much longer my friend can even continue working--even using his
one hand on the computer is very difficult for him now! I believe God has sent you and Doug Kaufmann and
others recently into my life for a special reason!! Thanks for being His helper.

Answer: Check your area for acupuncturists. They may be listed in the phone book or by going to Acupuncture.
com and using their find an acupuncturist link. As for nutrition, I can help with that issue. I use a
questionnaire, saliva and stool culture to find the problem. You can order the culture kits from my office. For
chronic arthritis and advanced sinus disease, I have supplements that work extremely well on these conditions.
For both of the conditions above, the laser pen does great. If you order a laser pen from my website or via
telephone, ask for specific instructions for asthma.

As for scleroderma and mitochondrial myopathy, I would approach it as a severe auto-immune disorder and
treat through balancing the body using acupuncture, meditation and supplementation. In addition, I would
culture stool and saliva to check the status of yeast and fungus or any other parasitic activity. I would consider
a drastic diet change (i.e. Doug Kaufmann's Phase 1 Diet) and a good antifungal supplement. I'll be glad to
assist you further should you need. Supplements are listed on our website.

Question: Can you tell me more about the laser pen and its use for asthma and advanced sinus disease? I don't
understand how this can help the sinuses, and especially how it helps asthma; or does helping the sinuses
actually HELP the asthma? I was also wondering about your thoughts on analysis of one's hair to determine
nutritional deficiencies. I have a couple friends who just swear that it's the best way to find out this
information. Also, a question about Doug Kaufmann's books: Which one has the information about the Phase
I diet? Thanks much for your help.

Answer: The hair analysis is for evaluation of heavy metal and nutrients that are absorbed in the body. A
sample of hair is sent off to the lab and a written report indicates the existing problems.
The laser pen is placed on specific acupuncture points of the body which help balance your body and reduce
symptoms of asthma. Also, treatment of the sinuses helps lower asthmatic symptoms. The mold, mildew,
fungus has much to do with symptoms of both asthma and sinus. As for Doug's books, both the Fungus Link I
and II have the diet listed. You can purchase these from my site or straight from Doug's website.

Question: I just saw your tv program and I was very intrigued with your information on yeast in the body and
it's effect. I was wondering if you have any thoughts on the cause and possible "cure" of schizophrenia. I have
a beautiful niece who is only 21 years old, and who has recently been diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder,
bi-polar disorder, and obsessive/compulsive disorder. This has been a nightmare and trip to torment that we
cannot wake up from. Do you have any experience with this illness? This girl is normally very intelligent, a
Dean's list student, very active in school activities, has a delightful personality, a real go-getter, and just
someone who had EVERYTHING in the world to look forward to until disaster struck. Now she is merely a shell
of who she once was. She was involved in the drug scene for a brief period of time, but her doctors say that
they believe this was part of a self- medicating period and that she didn't use enough of anything to do this
type of brain damage from the drugs. Any advice or thoughts on this issue?  Thank you so much for any advice!

Answer: Drug induced schizophrenia is common and is caused by allergic reaction which sets off the nervous
system. Actually, my own brother-in-law is suffering from same. The protocol that helped him was a very
expensive unit which has an ear stimulation to balance brain activities. A good body cleanse (especially liver
cleanse) plus a huge dose of multivitamin is recommended. I would check the hormone level as well as for
heavy metal poisoning. Acupuncture does wonders with symptoms.

Question: Dr. Naddaf, I’m looking for alternate methods of treating a pseudomonas infection in the lungs. Is
pseudomonas bacteria or a fungus? I am a very healthy 61 year old female. No immune system problems or
any other illness. I have been suffering with a chronic cough for 3-4 years and treated many times for sinus,
bronchitis etc. Until recently the sputum i coughed up was tested and I was told that I had a staph and a
pseudomonas infection in my lungs. The only symptom was and is the cough. Treated with oral antibiotics
(Cipro etc) unsuccessfully. Had a PIC line and received 2 weeks of tobromicin, and cephapine? then the staph
was gone but not the pseudomas. The 3 more weeks of IV antibiotics and then I was still coughing. The so
called lung doctor at our military medical facility completely gave up at this point and said that I would just
have to learn to live with the cough! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Answer: Pseudomonas bacteria are Gram-negative rods that utilize glucose oxidatively. These bacteria are
resistant to most antibiotics and are often encountered in hospital and clinical work. Its main targets are
immuno-compromised individuals, burn victims, and individuals on respirators or with indwelling catheters.
Rarely will you find Pseudomonas as a cause of infection in healthy individuals. Further, it is not a life
threatening condition in healthy individuals. Have a CT or MRI of your lungs to rule out cancer. If no cancer is
evident, then I would recommend the following: Do a good lung cleanse with ALJ for 3 months as well as using
olive leaf spray (nasal and oral) to keep the allergens and contaminant's out of your respiratory system. ALJ is
the key product for the respiratory system. It provides nutrients that must be present for proper respiratory
system function. This formula supports healthy lung function and helps support the body during seasonal
changes. It also encourages the entire respiratory tract to gently cleanse itself and helps promote respiratory
tissue health. It contains: Boneset herb, horseradish root, mullein leaves, Fennel seeds, Fenugreek seeds.

Question: I understand that seborrheic dandruff is caused by free radicals. What can I do to combat the
problem? I enjoyed you on Health Matters with Doug Kauffman! Thanks in advance for your response!

Answer: The free radical produced by yeast and fungus may be involved in this disease of the skin. I can mix a
topical remedy if you desire but it will take 2-3 weeks to brew the mixture.  This disease is similar to psoriasis
and I believe it has a systemic Candida, yeast root. Change your diet to an antifungal, anti yeast/candida diet.
We can send you a saliva and stool kit, as well, to test for yeast infection and to ascertain any infectious
activity in your body.  If you are interested in more information or for a list of supplements I would
recommend, please e-mail back requesting same.

Question: I have had toenail fungus for about five years and would like to get rid of it. I am on Doug's Phase
One diet and am using olive leaf extract and caprylic acid. Are there any topical herbs or solutions I could use?
What else would you suggest I do to rid my body of this fungus? I haven't found any doctors who would
prescribe nystatin or diflucan to help me in ridding my body of fungus. Thank you for your help.

Answer: To completely rid the body of myotoxins you must do a complete body cleanse. I prefer Chinese
Cleanse. Then you continue with diet. Use of my antifungal drops would get rid of the distal infection and the
new nail that grows would be health. Since you have had this infection for five years, I would approach it by
testing the following: 1) saliva test for adrenal and hormones, 2) stool culture. By having the findings of these
tests, you can be treated more appropriately. We have these self-test kits in our office. If you would like to
order them, please call toll free at 866-602-7869.

Question: I was wondering if you could send some info. on the treatment of athletes foot.  Thank you.

Answer: I have my own herbal blend for the treatment of athletes foot. You can find it on my website at www.
healthsolutionssource.com. You can click the online catalog link, then choose Shop by Brand, then click on the
Health Solutions link. You will see the product listed there. If you wish, you may call us toll free at 866-602-
7869 and order using a credit card over the phone. With my herbal blend, you use one drop on each affected
area of the foot and/or toes each evening. Apply the oil and then put on a pair of short socks. Let the oil soak
for an hour or so. It will change the color of the toenail but will have little affect on the skin color. Do this
each day for 4-6 weeks. Also, wear clean cotton socks each day. Change your shoes daily and have at least two
pairs to rotate. Check yourself for Candida infection and adjust your diet so that you use no sugar, no white
flour and avoid low simple carbohydrates.

Question: Saw you on the Doug Kaufman show and you talked about diet in relation to arthritis. I'm
wondering what kind of diet you recommend as well as supplements for me. I have: rhuematoid arthritis
psoriasis toenail fungus Thank you for your help.

Answer: If you have Doug's diet, go on the Phase 1 for 2-3 weeks. Then go on Phase II for 2-3 months. You
may add a few more of the complex carbohydrates to your diet after this period. For Rheumatoid Arthritis I
recommend the following: Cherry Concentrate, noni juice, glucosamine/chondroitin, Acheaway lotion, and
shark cartilage. Shark cartilage should be taken as follows: 9 per day for 2 weeks; 6 per day for 2 weeks; 4 per
day for 4 weeks; and 2 per day for 6 months. I have all these products available in my health supplement store.
Should you wish to purchase them from me, use the online catalog at www.healthsolutionssource.com or call
toll free at 866-602-7869 and place your order by phone.

Question: I am writting you because I am covered with the plack type Psoriasis on my knees, arms, chest,
lower back and legs. I have been to two different skin doctors and all they do is give me steroidal creams
that causes pain in my whole body when using them. They help the skin but after two weeks it comes back
worst.  I was watching you on Doug Kaufmann's program and you said that there is a mixture of 6-8
ingredients that a RX can mix up that would clear up the Psoriasis in about 2 weeks. Please tell me what they
are so my doctor can have it made for me. Thanks for any and all help.

Answer: Most dermatologists know the formula. It is made by a Compound Pharmacist. Check your area for
Compound Pharmacists and ask one of them to recommend a dermatologist that can prescribe the formula for
you.

Question: I saw you on the Doug Kaufmann show tonight and wanted to ask a question concerning my throat.
It feels like something is stuck in my throat and I want to burp to get rid of the feeling and do burp. My neck
is normal size. Should I seek medical advice or wait to see if it passes. This has been going off and on for the
last week but seems to be fairly constant now. Thanks and God Bless.

Answer: Have you checked your thyroid by blood test or ultrasound? It may also be an allergy. I need more
information from you. Please provide as much information as you can and I will offer recommendations.

Question: Do you have a contact for our area that would use your methodology for working on IBS? We live in
Hudson, Colorado near the Denver area.

Answer: I don't have any contacts in your area. With IBS, however, we can work long distance using one or
more of my test kits, supplements, and diet. Contact me if you are interested in pursuing this.

Question: My husband has been diagnosed with arthritis in both his knees. It causes great pain, inflammation,
swelling and immobility. Please help.

Answer: Acupuncture and the pro-adjuster technique will help to lower pain by up to 80%. It will also help the
swelling to go down. In acupuncture, knee arthritis is a direct symptom from the kidney, especially since it is
accompanied by swelling. Check for kidney and prostate function. My recommendations for supplements that
will help are as follows: Cherry Concentrate, noni juice, glucosamine/chondroitin, Acheaway lotion, and shark
cartilage. Shark cartilage should be taken as follows: 9 per day for 2 weeks; 6 per day for 2 weeks; 4 per day
for 4 weeks; and 2 per day for 6 months. I carry these products as do others.

Question: Hello to Dr. Naddaf. My legs are giving me much pain lately. They were doing so much better and I
can't figure out what I'm doing wrong and or differently. I've been trying to walk slowly on my treadmill just
for exercise and this past Wednesday the veins on my right leg became very swollen, pulsating, and extremely
painful. At bedtime, it was too painful to get to sleep, so my husband was kind enough to find me some
burdock in the dark. The burdock treatment really helped but now I'm afraid to exercise or walk very much
for fear that the severe pain will return. And my legs ache continuously. And also a slight burning, tingling
sensation. How do I find out what is causing all of this? Should I try acupuncture again? What would your pro-
adjuster machine do? Any advice (and/or sympathy) would be appreciated! Thanks for all you do,

Answer: I am sorry to hear of your leg pain and suffering. Please refrain from using a treadmill. In my
opinion, treadmills are not a good exercise option. Once we reach a certain age, our joints are not able to
withstand the rebound stress from the surface of the treadmill. Continue with the burdock wrapping and try to
get rid of the excess inflammation either with White Willow or Lymphatic Massage. You may want to start
walking as tolerated. I carry a piece of  exercise equipment here in the office that may better meet your
needs.. It is the Soft-Bounce Rebounder. It is excellent for cardiovascular and toning of the body with no
offense to the joints and/or "older" bones.  If you are interested in the Rebounder or a list of recommended
supplements that would help reduce your pain, please call the office.

Question: Please, can you advise about miscarriages? Is there anything one can take to prevent them or help
to prevent them?  Thank you.

Answer:  Since I don't have your specific reason for miscarriage or your medical history, the following is a
general management for miscarriage prevention. Make sure you consult with your alternative care physician
such as chiropractic, acupuncturist, etc. Take 2-3 grams vitamin C, preferably bioflavonoids 800iu vitamin E
800mcg folic acid 1000mcg sublingual B12 300mg B6 Gingko biloba, as per bottle directions. Grapeseed extract,
as per bottle directions. Sarsparilla (may cause nausea & kidney problems), as per bottle directions. A good
general multi-vitamin, preferably NOT prescription prenatal. Optimal Natural Health has a product called
RazUp and Intimate Joy which help with female organs and restoring the normal function of the uterine walls.
Acupuncture treatments up to six visits are also known to help aid in maintaining pregnancy. Should you have
any further questions, please feel free to call or write anytime.

Question: I was tested and my estrogen level was really high so I bought bliss cream. Before I had time to
start using it, I developed some medical problems. Now my medical problems are better but they put me on
Yasmin Birth Control pill until next October. My question is this--- can I go ahead and start using the bliss
cream even while on the pill?  I am having monthly beta tests for my HCG levels to make sure they stay at 0.
Will taking bliss cream effect my HCG beta number in anyway?
I want to try to lose weight but with my estrogen level high I know it is against me. I also am on synthroid. I
am 41. If you need any other information please feel free to ask. I would like to try to get my body healthy as
natural as possible. I really hate feeling I had to go on the pill but at this time, I felt it was what I should do.
Thank you in advance.

Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. I would like to know the medical reason for you going on the pill. At this
point, a complete adrenal testing would be appropriate with a saliva or blood test. If you wish, you can contact
our office for information on a saliva test kit, how to use it, and the cost. I cannot understand the reason for
your HGC level to be elevated. Please outline your medical condition in more detail and I can respond to your
question more appropriately and accurately.
Bliss creams will not interfere with the use of the pill. It will also help to increase the thyroid function.

Question: Hi, Would you please let me know what is the different of DRX 9000 and VAX-D procedure? I have
bulging disc at L5-S1. I want to know which one is the better treatment.
Thanks

Answer: Thank you for your inquiry. You are not the first to ask the difference between the two systems. The
VAX-D has been around for 10 or more years and was licensed as a traction device. With it, and I have
patients that had used the VAX-D, you lay on the table on your belly. There are two bars at the head end that
you use to hold yourself on the table as the machine pulls on your lower body. Successful results have been
sporatic with the VAX-D. In addition, there have been documented cases of the VAX-D causing cervical
problems while being used to work on the lower back.

The DRX9000 is three generations improved over the VAX-D. The DRX was developed by NASA to help their
astronauts regain lower back mobility after extended space travel. With the DRX, the table pivots up so that
you can stand in front of it and gently lean back. The table is then lowered to a horizontal position. You are on
your back. Two harnesses are used in the procedure, one to provide a means of isolating a pull on a specific
segment of the spine, the other harness is to stabilize and hold you on the table. Most patients either take a
nap or watch a movie during the 30 minute procedure.

The DRX applies the correct angle of distration to the specified vertibrea to be worked on. A full protocol for
the DRX requires the patient to undergo a 30 minute DRX treatment everyday for two weeks, 3 times a week
for two weeks, and then either one or two times a week for two weeks, depending upon patient progress.

I have asked some of my patients which method they preferred and no one chose the VAX-D. All indicated
they preferred the comfort of the DRX and noted that they attained much better results on the DRX. There is
also a money back gaurantee on the DRX. If after 7 sessions  you do not experience at least some relief taking
place (based upon your own self analysis along with the judgement of the doctor), you get your money back. I
have yet to have to return any money to a patient -- they all experienced some relief within the 7 treatment
period.

The documented success rate for the DRX is 85%, meaning that patients approved for the procedure generally
improve by 85% over how they felt when they began treatment.

In my opinion, if you opt for treatment of the lower back and are a candidate for the procedure, I would
recommend the DRX over the VAX-D.

Best regards,

Dr. Naddaf

Question: My friend has been diagnosed with stage IV cancer of kidney, brain, bones, lung. What diet should
my friend be using and what homeopathic choices are available for him? We are looking for anything that is
new or can help.

Thanks

Answer: Thank you for your e-mail. I have some pertinent information for you. Please be advised that none of
these treatments are cheap.

The newest product on the market is something called poly-mva liquid. It is advertized that the doctors in
Mexico that prescribe this to their "fatal" stage patients are experienceing a 90% success rate.  This, by itself,
will cost $1,000 to $1,500 per month.

Another option is to go with a complete anti-fungal regimen with supplementation.

Begin an anti-fungal diet immediately. Watch excess protein intake due to the kidney dysfunction.
Take shark fin cartilage (Seagate brand is excellent)
Take Broccoli powder, again Seagate
Take grape seed extract, again Seagate is good.
Take carrott powder, again Seagate.
Drink Esiac Tea
Take an Immune Booster and/or daily organic vegetable juice.

These supplements would also run somewhere around $1,000 per month. If you should choose to use the Poly-
MVA and some of the supplements, your cost could easily be $1,500 or more per month.

I carry the supplements inhouse and on the website (www.healthsolutionssource.com) I can also order Poly-
MVA for you should you be interested. You can read more about this product on the Internet by going to
hope4cancer.com or by searching for Poly-MVA.

Hope this helps you.

My best,

Dr. Jamileh Naddaf

Question: Can this treatment be effective when the patient suffers from spondylolisthesis? Are there any
additional complications? How would the distraction due to the vertebral displacement be maintained post-
treatment? Could the patient find the spine became more unstable post-treatment?

Answer: One of the few counter indications for the DRX9000 is spondylolisthesis of any degree.  In regards to
your question about stability of the spine after traction, the muscle reeducation plays a big role in maintaining
the health of the spine.  The program is designed to work between an 8-12 week period for the purpose of
rehabilitation of the muscles involved.  Some nutritional supplementation can also aid in increased muscular
health.

Thank you for your question and should you have any further questions, please contact my office.

Sincerely,

Dr. Jamileh Naddaf

Question: I use your products, and I think you might be able to help a friend of mine, well actually her dog.
Kathy a cocker has terrible fungal ear infection which they have tried everything.  Her ears are so infected at
this point she cannot hear.  Also she has skin problems.  FUNGAL keeps ringing for me.  I think they have
given her so much antibiotics that she is in terrible shape.  What do you have that could help her.  She is
losing weight because she is so much in pain.  HELP.

Answer: You are absolutely correct to assume fungal involvement. My recommendation would be a very strong
probiotic, such as the Hyper Implante (formerly One Shot) I sell in my office. This is a powder. Use 1/2 pack
daily. Also, try my fungal fighting eardrops. Use two drops two times daily. Use olive leaf powder, 3-5
tablespoons daily. Also, Chase Tree Berries are an excellent help for this problem. If she can keep the dog on a
strict regimen of taking these supplements she should see great results in 3-4 weeks.

Yours for better health,

Dr. Naddaf
