10. Do your feet “toe out” when you’re walking?
Dr. Naddaf insures that each SPS (Spinal Pelvic Stabilizer) Orthotics
is custom-made just for you and is individualized to stabilize your
spine and pelvis by correcting imbalances in your feet – the
foundation of your skeletal system.. Though they may go unnoticed,
these imbalances contribute to fatigue, misalignments, and pain in
areas throughout your body.
These imbalances may occur even if you’re not experiencing foot
pain. Off-the-rack shoe inserts cannot give you the unique support
and placement that your feet need to maintain proper, stable
positioning. They are made for the masses.
Dr. Naddaf custom fits the stabilizers through a casting process in
her office. Dr. Naddaf will show you how to wear and care for them.
If you answered YES to any of these questions, you need to see Dr. Naddaf. She can diagnose the cause of your condition and rule out any serious health problems.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What can I expect from orthotics?
A: The orthotics will support the foot/ankle complex in a better position of function. This is based on supporting the foot within
the normal acceptable ranges of angulations and measurements for normal, healthy feet in the weight-bearing position. This
biomechanically correct position helps support the optimal alignment and juxtaposition of the bones of the foot, yet allows for
normal motion of those joints.
The orthotic helps reduce heel strike shock. Studies at Northwestern Chiropractic College have demonstrated that orthotics
enhance proprioception and sensory-motor system function. Orthotics reduce over-use injuries and enhance the body’s shock-
absorbing capabilities by leveling the pedal foundation. Custom-made orthotics can greatly reduce or eliminate excessive
pronation or supination, relieving the strain on the lower extremities, metatarsals and plantar fascia.
Q: How long will the orthotics last?
A: This depends primarily on the patient. Obviously, a weekend golfer puts less wear on a pair of orthotics than a marathon
runner. A very high activity level, frequent exposure to water or heavy perspiration, temperature extremes and the use of
cleansers or chemical solvents are all factors that can reduce the life of the orthotic. Our orthotics are crafted of quality
materials selected for maximum comfort and durability. In most cases they will continue to give therapeutic support for a long
time.
Q: Will insurance cover the orthotics?
A: Some insurance companies provide coverage for orthotic prescriptions. Some insurance companies also cover the initial
examination, the time spent casting each foot, the time spent during orthotic fitting and training, as well as for an examination
time during an orthotic check two to four weeks later.
Many styles to choose from. Stop by one of Dr. Naddaf's offices today to learn more about orthotics and how they may help you.
