We provide this page to supply health related information to you. A "rare" disease has surfaced in our area, though it
appears to be spread throughout the country. One of my own children has been diagnosed with Kawasaki Syndrome and
is currently being treated. In speaking with other parents around the area, many indicated that their children have
exhibited symptoms at one time or another similar to those associated with Kawasaki Syndrome.

Most of the parents indicated that they had not spoken with anyone about the their children's symptoms. Though most
visited the doctor, they received mixed messages about their children's ailments. Moreover, doctors are often not
familiar with the disease or are mute on the subject. Kawasaki Syndrome is rare. It affects a small percentage of
children according to the Center for Disease Control. It is not our intention to scare you or cause undo concern when
